Tell us a little about yourself.

I am a nationally certified mediator in private practice in RI/owner of Rhode Island Divorce Mediation Center, LLC. I am a founding member of the Academy of Professional Family Mediators (APFM), author of Separate Homes Connected Lives, and creator of Total Divorce Blueprint - an online program for divorce, co-parenting and high conflict divorce cases. I also conduct workshops and seminars encompassing all aspects of divorce, divorce & finances, co-parenting and high conflict divorces. I am a mom to my fur babies, Max & Maya. My hobbies include personal growth, reading, painting, and music.

What inspired you to get involved with NPO?

The opportunity to make a difference that might prevent others from going through what I had to go through.

What is your position in your NPO chapter?

Rhode Island Chair. Organizing monthly meetings, maintaining and contributing to the RI Chapter FB page, community outreach.

What are some lessons you've learned from your volunteer work?

There are many parents in need of support and change, and there are a lot of people eager and interested in helping bring this change about.

What advice would you give to volunteers working toward family law reform?

Advocating for the health and well-being of children and protecting their rights to loving relationships with both parents is the most important thing we can do for them. Change is not always easy or expedient, but it is always worth it.
